Current positions in North York, ON We are an Equal Opportunity Employer Position Profile Job Title: Progress Developer (RK99) Location: 1220 Sheppard Ave East, Suite 215, Toronto, ON, M2K 2S5 Start Date: Immediate Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 (based on experience) Benefits: Extended Medical, Dental, Group Benefits, Disability Insurance, Terms: Permanent, Full-time Position ON SITE ONLY (No remote or offshore work) Summary Job Duties • Write, modify, integrate and test software code • Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required • Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software • Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications • May lead and co-ordinate teams of computer programmers • May research and evaluate a variety of software products. • Adapt to our environment which includes Progress Database, SQL Server, GUI/ADM2, Dynamics, and Roundtable Requirements • 5 Years Development in Progress is a MUST. • Relevant Post Secondary Education • Good oral and written communication skills • Empathy and patience with customers • Logical and detail oriented • Demonstrated ability in software development and design • Be willing to expand your technical horizons into new and modern technology • Knowledge of accounting systems (AR, AP, GL, PR) is an asset • Knowledge of transportation, trucking dispatch software, logistics, is a BIG asset • Knowledge of document management, communications, and formal EDI are all assets • Knowledge of Mobile Development for Android such as AngularJS is an asset Email your Resume and other documents to info@degama.com with subject “Programmer RK99” and we will give you a call.
