Progress 6 app

We are in the process of migrating to Progress 9. We have a progress 6 DB but no longer have the actual progress application needed to access the 6 DB. I talked to progress and they dont even have a copy to send to me. Does anyone know where I can get ahold of a copy of progress 6? Or at least a tool that will allow us to access the database file we have?

You hv not specified which for which OS?

Anyways getting Progress version 6 will be too difficult.

You could try these things

1) Try getting version 8.x from progress.
Install 8.x, then use conv68 with proutil command
to convert from 6 to 8.
Then install progress 9 & use conv89 from progress version 9 to convert from 8 to 9

2) there is a -Nv parameter for progress client.

try connecting ur progress 6 database with progress version 9 client with -Nv 12 parameter. I'm not very sure if this works.
