programming colors for stacks in a bar graph

The data returned has 5 rows. The final graph is a horizontal stack bar graph, one stack for each row value. What I want to know is, how can I program in such a way that depending on the row value I'll decide which color should be assigned to that particular stack. Its of very critical importance to me. So, any help, as early as possible, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
