Problem sending attachments with smtpmail.p

When I specify the body of the email message as "file" smtpmail.p will not include any attachments. Simply changing the body to be "text" will send any and all attachments.

Anyone else experience this problem with smtpmail.p?

I've not experienced this particular problem - but have always used text rather than file for the type.
