Dear All,
One of my clients has..
A Compaq Proliant 8000
8 Processor
UnixWare 7.1
Progress v9
160 users
Their system fails regularly (about once a week) with an OpSys panic message such as "Disk 1 Failed" through to "Disk 7 failed".
Almost every hardware component has been swapped out with no success.
These failures normally result in data and data block corruption.
They have two backup databases, one updated by rolling AI's forward, and one by probkup incremental copies.
Two questions...
1. Can AI roll forward and/or probkup pass a corruption on?
2. Does anyone know of a problem with this combination of hardware and software?
Thanks,
Bob
