Printer setting

First of all Hello to everyone, I'm new here
And now to my problem:
One of our MFG users has a new HP 5510 printer installed in her machine.
she wants to print with this printer from MFG. I told her to define this printer as the default printer and then to choose "printer" as usual. She did so but it didn't succeed and there was no print.
I wonder if the problem is with this printer brand, maybe it requires different control setting in printer setup maintenance? (Our MFG version: 8.6E)
If anybody can help, it would be great.

To print from within MFG/Pro, a printer must be set up under Menu 36.13.2 - Printer Setup Maintenance.

Once the printer is set up and listed under Menu 36.13.2 with a correct Pathname, one simply selects that defined printer from the "Output:" list.

Even iamnew to mfg/pro but iam giving u the solution what i knew. if iam wrong pls correct me.
first in 36.13.1 printer setup has to be done. where u have to specify
lines ex 66.
80col Start = /027&k0S
132 col start = /027&k2S/013
barcode start = /027*z0q9h<
neg line feed = /027&a-1R
reset = /027&k0S
then in printer setup maintenance 36.13.2
output = "printername specified in 36.13.1"
printer type = "your printer "
lines = 66
device pathname = lpt1 or lpt2 for windows if in network give \\compname\printer for char /dev/tty
