Our client is in the supply chain industry. They are seeking a Programmer Analyst with a proven, professional track record to join their dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for creating, maintaining and integrating host, PC and web based software applications. Coding and testing applications in batch, online and web environments.
This position is based in NW lower peninsula of Michigan.
Qualifications Required:
· 5+ years experience in design, development and maintenance of IT applications.
· 2+ years experience with component-based design, data modeling, and/or service oriented architectures
· 2+ years programming with a 4GL tool
· Progress 4GL experience a plus
· Formal SDLC experience
· Ability to work in an entrepreneurial organization
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
