Oracle DS V9.1E and Oracle 10gR2

Has anyone successfully connected an Oracle DS 9.1E to an Oracle 10gR2? We had the DS connecting to a 10gR1 before but when they upgraded to 10gR2 we can no longer connect and kept getting "unable to load shared library" from the log file. We need to know if this is a compatibility issue and if there are any possible workarounds.
