NetUI Speed

We are running Character-based, Progress 9.0, MFG/PRO 8.6.

We just installed the Progress NetUI and Webspeed, but are not using it because lookups (F2) take to long. In fact we hit F2 for the site field, which contains 5 entries, and it takes 5 minutes to return the values!

Anyone had this kind of problem? Any suggestions?
