We have a Poweredge 6600 Dell server working on "windows 2000 server". Progress 9.1D is installed. We have nearly 90 users working on a Database on that server and it happened that another company (35 users) merged with ours. at the moment, we have 5 DB's installed on that same server. two DB's for the live work, other two for test purposes ans one last one for the year closing and accounting reports.
is this effecient? because I realize some backdraws in speed and functionality.
I need to go for a proposal to have a seconf DB server but i need some real info to backup my claim. So please if anyone can share his/her experiance with me and also redirect me to a link that can be of good use to make a good report having some real info supported.
