maximum filesize on linux

openedge 102A on Red Hat Linux 4.1

Database has largeFiles enabled, and a blocksize of 8k.

ulimit shows "unlimited".

We've currently got a variable extent of about 2.5Gb, so I'd like to know what size this file could reach ?

Out of my head, 1TB is the maximum size of an extent.
