Managing sockets and thread

Hi,

I try to manage a serial port with Windows sockets.
Can you give me an exemple of program for client writing and reading in socket.

I try to use first Windows thread with DLL written in Delphi, but interaction with Progress L4G is very hard.
Has someone an idea to manage Windows thread?
