Hi all,
We have a server (where server mean the hardware, the computer itself) running Progress 9.1D08, obviously with some other computers running as clients.
The license we use is named POA (forgive me if the acronym is wrong, my english is not that good).
This kind of license is connected to the ERP we use, so as far as I could understand a percentage of the license that we pay to the ERP supplier goes to Progress to pay the license of the database server (Progress programs).
Given this scenario my question is:
If I want to put another server (the hardware) and distribute the database files between the two server (again the hardware), do I need any more licenses, once that the concurrent number of users will be exactly the same, so the same name of computer clients, the same application and so on...?
Please do not tell me to ask the ERP supplier they are really really confused, we have been in this issue for more than a month.
