Java <-> Appserver

Hi,
I want to access (connect) to AppServer directly from a Java service (some kind) on a web server. I mean without the AiA.



Do you know where can I find some literature about this problem?

Do you know where can I find the surce files of AiA servlet (I think from there I could learn alot).

Or could somebody send an example code?
