How to open OpenEdge to Web Services???

Greetings,

I have OpenEdge 10.1 sat on my box. How do I open the database to the web so I can update the db from a webpage at a URL???

Are you asking about installing and using WebSpeed ?

Windows, Linux, UNIX ?


If it's Windows, you're going to need the XP or other windows installation disc for installing IIS first (google install IIS).

You'll need to setup a couple of virtual directories and there are some Progress configuration settings but overall WebSpeed is pretty strait forward and simple to install and use.
