Getting a list of available worksheet names from excel

Is it possible to get a list of available worksheet names from a Excel spreadsheet using COM object methods?

So using the COM object method, open an existing excel spreadsheet and retrive the available worksheet names.

I've worked it out.
But does anybody knows have to get the current active selected range?
