Does anyone know how to display a clients OS information. I've found the SESSION:WINDOWS-SYSTEM attribute, but that only tells me if Win 95 shell is running.

I could not give you the exact syntax at this time but I am thinking explore the OS-SILENT/COMMAND function this will enable you to return the current OS being run to query the return-value.
