Development Manager needed-salary to $100,000-U.S.

Currently recuiting for a Development Manager. This position will report to the Director of IS.



The successful candidate will have the following skills:



Ø Minimum of 10 years IS experience

Ø Minimum of 8 years with direct programming with Progress 4GL

Ø Minimum of 6 years with management responsibilities for a team of at least 6 Progress Developers / Programmers

Ø Minimum of 4 years direct responsibility for the Architecture of the Application Development with Progress

Ø Minimum of 4 years experience with web and internet related development and technologies

Ø Minimum of 2 years in an Operations responsibility working with Progress, preferably in a HPUX environment

Ø Minimum of 4 years experience at a Manufacturing company using Progress

Ø Responsibilities should include working knowledge of Bar Coding, EDI, IP Networks, Shop Floor integration, BI tools, and ERP applications

Ø Development management must show understanding of Version Control, Development Standards, Code Reviews, and Code Optimization

Ø Candidate must be able to describe and discuss various licensing models used in the industry, and describe the pro’s and con’s with each

Ø Must be available to travel in the US, Canada, and Europe, be on call 24x7.





Salary is $80,000 to $100,000. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and currently residing in the U.S.
