Connecting to Progress DB with ODBC

Greetings All,

My company currently uses a custom application to manage data that uses a progress database and runtime. The application uses v. 9.1c and in some cases I believe 9.1d .The database is maintained and accessed exclusively by the client, (i.e. each machine has it's own user controlled and accessed database, no external connections are established). We have no actual progress servers. I need to connect to my progress database files (*.db, *.lk, *.b1, *.d1, *.st) via ODBC so that I can dump the data into Access as well as generate reports with Crystal XI. How can I access these files via ODBC? Openlink and merant drivers look for a progress server and host name, I want to connect to the actual progress file. is this possible? If not, what can i use to establish a progress server that only needs to support 1 user? The connection can be internal, but the option of an external connection would be nice.

Thanks,
