Hi,
To connect to a SQL Server DB, follow the steps below;
1. Create a system DSN for the SQL DB that you want to create.
2. Go to Progress Data dictionary -> Data Servers -> Create Dataserver Schema. Input the details requested. I am not sure about the connection parameter you use to connect to SQL Server. Kindly check.
This will enable you to connect a SQL DB while in Progress.
