Hi everybody,
I have a few little questions about the bootstrap method and WebClient.
First, i had installed and tested the bootstrapping process on two or three computers a few months ago, and it worked fine.
I now want to remove WebClient and the Webclient apps from these workstations using the Control Panel, and both PC's i have tried crashed down when i clicked on "Remove". I click and nothing happens, the Control Panel is just frozen... And WebClient remains installed.
To solve this problem, I decided to reinstall WebClient on these workstations so that i have 3 choices : reinstall, update, and remove (good choice for me).
Anyone knows why WebClient behave this way ?
Another question :
Even if I have removed WebClient and the associated apps, the Bootstrap method, which should first install WebClient, directly suggest to install the app itself ! I know the bootstrap.htm file is OK since it works on workstations which have never yet been involved with WebClient.
In addition to these elements, i also noticed i have still a directory WebClient in my Common Files/Progress Software with proWCVer.dll.
<-- me, just right now
Any help or information would be appreciated :dead:
