We have a problem when we install our application in an AS400 (with the ODBC).
We don’t have any problem with the Progress AS400 Data Server and the application work fine but we used ACTUATE for printing and we only can do the connection from the ACTUATE with the ODBC for DB2 (we can’t connect with the SQL89 connection).
Another problem occurs with the database field name because the ODBC don’t work if the field name has more than 10 characters.
Did any one already install PROGRESS, ACTUATE in AS400? And did you have any problem with the ODBC or ACTUATE? (Field name length ?)
