My firm eXample (www.example-india.com), is currently assisting a leading US based MNC client to build a team of Progress 4GL/Unix Software development and support professionals at their offshore center in India.
The team will design, build, enhance and support existing and new software applications. The team will also get opportunities to migrate into newer technologies like Oracle 11i e-Business suite of applications, considering the IT roadmap of our client.

Position : Analyst/Developer (Full time / Permanent Role)
No. of Positions : Twelve (12)
Work Location : Gurgaon (near Delhi - North India)
Role Profile
Analyze, design, build, test/debug and support Progress 4GL based Software applications running on Unix platform
Skill sets
The candidate should possess good design, programming and application support skills and have a excellent understanding of:
- Progress 4GL Development language and associated tools
- Progress DBA tasks
- Unix Shell scripting - highly desirable
- Additional skills in Webspeed, desirable not mandatory
- Good communication skills
Experience
2-7 years of experience in a software development role, with exposure to design, development, testing, enhancement and support tasks.
Educational Qualification
BS,BE, B Sc. (Comp Sc./IS), B.Tech, MCA or equivalent degree
Remuneration
