Add/Remove Index Fields

The data dictionary doesn't seem to offer a way to add or remove index fields, but before giving up I thought I'd ask if it is possible, whether through loading a DF or any other way.

I want to do this mainly to avoid making mistakes deleting and re-creating the index.

Also, you can not edit the fields in an index. You must create a new index with the new fields. If you want you can then rename or remove the old index and then rename your new index to have the old name
