Tim May/Peter Van Damm's CRC Database Copy

Firstly let me congratulate Tim May and Peter Van Damm on the work they has done on crccopy.p and crccopy2.p.

I have been testing them for some time now and the code will alleviate some of our more technical customer release problems.

I have tested the code on V7 progress on different flavours of unix (AIX, SCO) and the code has worked fine.

However when I attempt to run the code on HPUX V8 progress, the code will not run and I repetitively get the "No _record Available" error message.

It would be gratefully appreciated if you could reply to me on this subject.

Hiya Benji-

Have you downloaded the latest copy of the CRC copy program from http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~prvdam/crccopy.p and http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~prvdam/crccopy2.p

You could be running an older version. I have also had a problem using the CRC copy when I had tables defined without an index (Progress just creates a "default" index, which I don't think the CRC copy can handle properly).

If these are not the problem, please respond on see if you can narrow down the piece of code that might be giving you problems.
