Reflex is a specialist recruitment agency that has worked within the UK Progress community for over 12 years and one of our current vacancies is for a senior Progress Developer with a minimum of 4 years hands-on development experience to join one of our clients based close to London.
This is a senior post within the IT department and would suit an existing development team leader or a senior developer looking for that first step into management.
The details are as follows:
You must have a minimum of 4 yrs Progress development exp and have recently used v9 GUI.
The job, reporting to the ICT Development Manager, will be to co-ordinate and manage development requests, both from operational areas and from new Projects. The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day management of the whole development cycle, in partnership with the rest of the development team, allocating resource as appropriate and ensuring efficient communication with the requestor. You will also need to be a development resource in your own right, and manage your own tasks alongside those of the other members of the team.
Due to the structure of the team, the successful candidate must be confident enough to make decisions and act upon them within the overall development framework. They will also be involved in project meetings where appropriate, and hopefully will bring their own experience and skills to the team.
Skills: Min 4 years Progress, including v9 GUI required.
This is an excellent new vacancy that will allow an experienced developer to get involved at a team leading & Project Management level.
