Reading Licence numbers from 4Gl

Hello Talkers!

Is there any way that I from 4GL can see what kind of progress products a customer have installed, including licence numbers.

The application I'm building, allows some users to call Progress ReportBuilder. My problem is, that the program prorb.exe is always installed then you install Progress Client Network, but the user may or may not have licence to run this product. I'd like to open or close the menu-item depending on the programs installed on the current workstation

Well you can use the PROGRESS function that will return either "Full", "Query" or "Run-Time" and the undocumentated _serial function will display the serial number. I don't know which serial number it will display however if there are multiple products installed.
