Hi,
We plan to move our application from HP-UX 10.20 to HP-UX 11. We have already installed V8.C17 on both machines. Since dump/load process takes about two days (estimated value) we would like to move the database to the new machine as it is.
Taking KBase 11930 into account we have examined bytes at offset 16 and 17 in the master block. Both have hex value 0453. We have moved the test database to the new machine and could start it without any problem.
Has anyone similar experience? Can we have any trouble in the future?
