These white papers are very usefull (in fact they describe the way we work
with customizations, so I can use the white-paper for our internal
documentation and I do not have to write it myself
smile.gif
). Thank you for that
but ... as always...

I do have a question (or better an enhancement request) concerning 'moving
objects from one module to another'.

Would it be very difficult to provide this 'move' functionality when
checking out an object. Let me explain what I (and my colleagues) want: when
we check out any object (using File - Check out), we would like to always
have the option to move the object to another module. This functionality is
already present for PCODE objects using the 'Group Checkout' tool. And the
code to do this for PDBASE, PFILE and PIELD objects is already there, since
this works when we create a New Object.

I'm sure that enhancing the Check Out dialog with an extra 'To module'
combo-box would be a much more intuitive way of working, and more users
would work with customizations this way since it would be much more evident
to do it that way than it is now. I dare say that I know quite a bit about
Roundtable and I had not even tried to do this, in fact I was using of the
hacks you sent me once for another problem!

Any idea whether this enhancement can be done rather easily? In V9.1?
