Kimberly King, Vice President, Worldwide Partners and Channels
March in the U.S. kicks off Women’s History Month, highlighting the amazing contributions of women throughout history and in contemporary society. At Progress®, we want to take the opportunity to highlight some of the intelligent, savvy Women of Progress that are leading our company with new and unique opportunities.
One such example of a Woman of Progress leader is Kimberly King, Vice President for Worldwide Partners and Channels. Kim is responsible for the strategic direction, management and success of the Progress Partner community—a group of more than 2000 Partners from around the world. Due to her skill and expertise in channel development and execution, Kim in the last year has driven innovation and growth back into our Partner community with initiatives like the Partner Sales Program and Project: Garage, a development incubator for Partners. Additionally, we have expanded our program to include three new tracks: Service Provider, Service Delivery Partner and Technology Alliance Partners.
Kim King a CRN Channel Chief for the Sixth Year
Kim King has been recognized by CRN Magazine as one of its Channel Chiefs for 2015. This is no small accomplishment, CRN has been the pre-eminent source for channel-related information and strategic guidance for more than three decades. It is the de facto standard, and being acknowledged not only this year, but also for six consecutive years along with heavy-hitters at HP, Oracle and RedHat is a true testament to her expertise and leadership in this space. Kim is also a three-time recipient of CRN’s Power 100: Top Women of the Channel, another impressive accolade to her credit.
In addition to her successes within Progress and the awards she has received by industry influencers, Kim also works to drive the channel marketplace, sitting on both the Channel Leadership Forum for IPED and the Baptie Channel Focus North American Advisory Board.
We are thrilled to have such an accomplished, dedicated leader driving our channel initiatives to the next level. Congratulations for your recent recognitions Kim, and thank you for being a Woman of Progress.
