Document Scanners and API / ACTIVEX Links to Progress

Hi,

Has anyone got any experience with using the iTwain OCX from Imagine IT Ltd.

Any examples, or insight into what other people are using would be greatly
appreciated.

Hi,

We are looking for ideas that will allow us to scan document images into the
computer system via our Progress In-house application.

We are interested in scanners that will sit behind the keyboard as opposed
to flat-bed scanners.

Can anybody suggest any ideas for scanners / software which will link and
allow Progress full control of the scanner, filename identification and
storage of the documents.

TIA for any ideas / suggestions.

We have had great success using the Kofax ImageControl products. Both
retrieval and capture engines have been very easy to integrate with
Progress. I think version 3 is current.
