The Developer will develop technical designs for assigned projects, coding
and testing applications in a batch, client/server environment. Consulting
with Implementation Consultants and the Director of Development on
application requirements, enhancement requests and general usability issues.
The Developer wil follow sound software engineering practices to ensure that
all applications are robust, documented and maintainable.
Essential Job Qualifications
4 year degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Systems
Project Management experience and skills are a must
Work Experience - 3 years developing significant business applications and
implementing transaction-oriented programs in Porgress 4GL
Preferred experience with Progress DBMS and 4GL (V9), client/server
architectures, web services development, graphical user interfaces and
middleware (app server)
Experience in Data Server, Active-X, XML, HTML, XLST and java script is an
asset
Comprehension of Home Construction and Real Estate Management
concepts/methodology a definite asset
Strong SmartObject ADM 2 experience
