Connecting remotely to AppServer on UNIX via Windows Progress Explorer Tool

Hello Team,

i am facing the same problem .Below is the error i was getting when starting the app server remotely. i have given the full 777 permission to /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow. but still i am facing this issue.

please let me know if is there any way to authenticate the user apart from OS or if i am missing anything then let me know

If you are having the same problem that someone 10 years ago had then:

1) the same solution should work

2) you really need to get upgraded

or...

3) maybe you should open a new thread and provide up to date details about *your* environment and *your* problem. Complete with all of the clarifications and follow-up details that eventually came out of the thread above?
