We’re two weeks away from Dreamforce 2014 – a little bit rock and roll, a little bit geeked out – this is one of the most happening events of the year.

If you’re headed to Dreamforce to address data integration aches, pains and strains, then help is at hand. Progress DataDirect will be there talking about how to address data related malaise. We’ll be presenting at two breakout sessions and showcasing DataDirect on-premise for Salesforce, DataDirect Cloud connectivity for Salesforce and Progress Easyl at booth W826.

Here’s what we have going on:

  • Join Sumit Sarkar, Principal Systems Engineer at Progress, to learn how to leverage Salesforce’s External Data Objects to access data from external systems, and provide all of your Salesforce.com data to BI tools to build beautiful visualizations and real-time dashboards. The session will take place on Thursday, October 16th from 10:00 AM – 10:20 AM PT in the Cloud Expo,
Partner Theater North.
  • Adam Breakey, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Progress and Rich Julius Principal Product Manager, will also be giving a session on new ways to manage your data needs without relying on IT, or spending hours in spreadsheet hell. Marketing and Sales Operations won’t want to miss this session! The session will take place on Wednesday, October 15th from 1:00 PM – 1:20 PM PT in the Cloud Expo,
Partner Theater West.
  • We’ll be playing doctor at the Progress DataDirect booth by helping those in need diagnose their data ailments. Stop by and let us know your symptoms and we’ll create a custom prescription just for you!

So there you have it for now. Check back over the next few weeks for all things Dreamforce on our blog and follow us @DataDirect_News! We’ll be updating you on any schedule changes, additional sessions and news coming out of the show. And use the promotional code EC14PRGRSFT to get $100 off Dreamforce registration.
