Question Can A Content Of Pdf File Can Be Read

Hi,

Is there any way to read the content of a pdf file ? Write that to a word file.

I do not think there is a Progress option available to do this, but there may be a few .NET solutions around. Word 2013 or later can open PDF's and convert to a Word file, so it may be possible using COM-HANDLES to achieve what you require.

Are you wanting to keep all the text formatting and images as-well. Or are you simply want to extract the text from the pdf and then place them into a plain MS Word file?

Lee, unfortunately I do not have any recommendations as have never done any pdf conversions. Apart from knowing that Word 2013 or later can open PDF's and convert to a Word file that is it.
