Hi,
We plan to move our application from HP K-460 to HP L2000 server. We use V8.3B database server at this moment. Unfortunatelly the operating systems are differ, the old machine has HP-UX 10.xx and the new one has HP-UX 11. As I know HP-UX 11 can run 'old' binaries. Is there anybody having similar problem solved nowadays?
Progress has different product for HP-UX 11. What is the reason of that?
Are the databases binary compatible (or should we dump/reload the databases)?
What is the simplest way of the migration?
