We are finally upgrading a 16 bit Progress V8 system which used a vbx, to a 32 bit Progress V9 system which uses an ocx.
For the vbx, putting the line
AllowDesignMode=No
into our ini file allowed end users to use the run-time version of the vbx.
Is there an ocx version of this command? How does Progress decide whether it requires the run-time or design-time version?
At present I keep getting asked for a license.dat file which, if copied, causes the application to assume that a trial version of the ocx is in use.
If it helps, the vbx and ocx are ListPro 2.1 combo boxes from FarPoint.
