I GOT IT thank you guys for all your help I eneded up going back to what i know (POS access haha) Opening the Progress Database thru ODBC and runing an update query against the progress database! Im so stoked, and i want to say thank you for your help! Anthony

That was exactly what i needed thank you very much But i have one more problem. When i try to check syntax after updating tablenames and such i get "You may not compile programs that update the database in this version (490)" What do i need to fix this? Thank you Anthony
