Wire Transfers

Symixers,

Is there anyone out there that uses wire transfers for Accounts Payable? We
are interested in using wire transfers via ACH. How does wire transfers
work?
The reading I have done on wire transfers seems to add work to our AP
associates rather than improving the process. Any comments would be
appreciated.

We use wire transfers but set up a report in results to print out the
invoice paid and then call the bank and make the transfer. The report that
is created is then Faxed to the Vendor with the ACH number. This works the
best of for us and is fast and painless.
