Window height in character mode (Windows OE10.1C)

I am having an annoying problem whenever running the Procedure Editor (and anything else) in character mode on Windows with OE10.1C.
The 'window' height seems to be around 300 or so lines, which means I have to scroll a long way down to get to any dialog boxes in the middle of the window or to read any status info at the bottom of the window. You can see how big the scroll area is in the attached picture.

Has anyone experience this before? Or overcome this?

I can't seem to find any startup parameters or ini entries to fix it.

Hi,

Yes, that can indeed happen, but there is a very simple resolution. Just go into the properties of the Windows shortcut to your character client. Go to the Layout tab. Then change the Height of the Screen Buffer Size to 25 lines and hit the Apply button.

Next time you use the shortcut it should be fine :)

Hope this helps,

Ah ha! Thank you very much Paul, I was hoping it was something simple like this.
I wonder how on earth the screen buffer size got set to 300 though..

I believe it is "the standard" for the windows character client shortcut :awink: Glad it's fixed though - it has been annoying me a couple of times as well until I found the cause and remedy.
