Win2000 Server version 5.0.2195, SP3 Build 2195
I hope that anyone has had the same problem:
We had to install our Application + Progress (Enterprise DB) on a new Server.
To start our databases we always use the Progress Explorer Tool.
But when we wanted to start our brokers we always got the error 'This process terminated with exit code 1 (8691).'
We checked our startup parameters, but they are correct. We also haven't used the checkbox to
automatically start the After-image writer.
So now we use the Procontrol tool and we don't have a problem to start the databases.
Does anyone know what went wrong with the explorer Tool? We have used it many times and we've never
had that problem.
