Hi,
I am working on Progress 10.2B and using Oracle Dataserver. I am trying to send Arabic text from progress schema holder to Oracle db. On Oracle db, some boxes are appearing instead of Arabic text.
I have downloaded the supplement package for Arabic language and update the following:
1. Added -cpinternal 1256 -cpstream 1256 -cpcoll Basic -cpcase Basic in startup.pf file
2. Copied promsgs.arb to $DLC/promsgs
3. Created copy of empty.db from $DLC/prolang/arb to create schema holder
4. In orabroker, set up -cpinternal 1256 -cpstream 1256 -cpcoll Basic -cpcase Basic values
Please share your valuable thoughts on how to save Arabic data in the correct format.
