System Error 126 when using ASP with Merant ODBC on IIS Server

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126 (MERANT 3.60 32-BIT Progress SQL92 v9.1D).

We tested a website to publish report data and it worked fine in house with progress loaded on the test machine but when we moved the site to the IIS server in CA. where the live database is it gives us this error.

It is on a client box with IIS loaded on it pointing to the database server.

We have already changed it to the correct DSN etc.

ALSO it is Progress 91D with a ERP named VISTA 6.1 from Epicor but communications via ODBC for reports Etc. have worked great and as I stated on a test machine it worked fine using ASP

Any Ideas??

Did you try to reinstall the driver?

126The specified module could not be found.

i'm having that same problem. where can i find KB P36468?

update - problem solved. i had a different drive letter mapped to the progress share than when the driver was installed, so odbc couldn't find the driver at all. duh.

The problem I had was the ASP files where not trusted on the web server.

I did the dev in dreamweaver and then copied the files up to the web server which had Frontpage on it.

I opened the files and one was not trusted, I trusted it and no problem.
