Could someone tell me how i can runa an executable from progress?

Has anyone used Progress for encrypting and decrypting files?

If you use a sufficiently current version of Progress, it is built in.

If you need to run an external command use OS-COMMAND.

If what you want to run is an Active-X control, then the answer is slightly more complex, so you should supply your Progress version and identify what it is that you actually want to run.
