While that sound great, it may or may not be possible to implement. I believe the Progress database engine has "Write ahead" meaning APW will write changes to database that may be not yet committed. BTW, Oracle engine works the same way. Thus those uncommitted changes have to go to standby database in a form of AI notes. It would be necessary to put those notes in a separate pool.
