Let's say we have an application written in Progress v8.
The idea is to replace the Progress DB server with non-Progress DB (preferably freeware) to lower the cost of the product for smaller companies (and to continue using Progress clients).
Is this even possible?
And if yes what changes would have to be made so that it would work the same way as with Progress DB?
Anyone has some experience with this?
