I just join this forum. Hi to all.
Actually my company is looking for a new Syteline Administrator running on Progress 4GL/6 language. Would like to ask:
1.If we hire a Progress 4GL/6 programmer with no ERP/Syteline experience, will he be able to understand and perform customization and maintenance on our current Syteline system?
2.If no, pls advise.
If its a no, does this mean, a Syteline/ERP programmer who previously using other programming language is good enough to do the job?
Any advise on "Source Code". Is it a must thing for new programmer to perform customization on my current Syteline system.
