Position: Progress Programmer/Analyst (Permanent Position)

Job Description: Tremendous opportunity for the right person to create and design cutting edge software. The position entails the following responsibilities:
- Prototype, code, and implement software for our Supply Chain Application. (V10.0B and Webspeed V10.0B)
- Develop and maintain plans, outline steps and timetables for developing programs.
- Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
- Convert designs and specifications into software modules.
- Compile code into programs and correct errors detected in the compile process.
- Create & run test transactions to determine errors and confirm that programs meet specifications.
- Work with Q.A. Team to analyze code to find the source of errors and revise programs as necessary.
- Occasionally consult with clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet their needs.
- Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs.
- Travel (None to Minimal).
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of 4gl experience.
- Webspeed is a major plus.
- Javascript is a plus.
- E.D.I. is a plus.
