I'm quite new in the Progress world, but it looks like this forum is the best source for any reliable support
I am trying to use Access 2010 pass-through query to retreive data from our Progress db (version 10.1B) through Openedge ODBC (10.1C) on Windows7 64 bit OS.
Everything works perfectly with the exception of the numeric fields.
If a numeric field has no decimals in Progress (even a rounded one by function), it is properly translated and displayed in Access, however if the field contains any decimals, it is interpreted as text in the result set.
I tried to change startup.pf parameters as described in other post, windows regional settings, etc, but it seems they have no influence on this behavior.
Do you have any tip, what else to try?
