and leading supplier to the North American automotive industry.
We presently have the following opportunity available in our
Mansfield, TX facility.

MIS Applications Manager

Description: Plans, directs, and controls the development,
installation and maintenance of computer programs for business
and scientific applications. Develops and establishes department
standards and procedures for application development and deployment.
Assigns and coordinates the work of the programming staff; provides
technical support and direction.

Experience: 3 plus years experience in ERP software implementation
management and planning. Familiarity with basic business operations
in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of MS Windows and
UNIX operating systems; working knowledge of common programming
languages (C/C++, UNIX Shell languages, 4GL programming, Progress)
and database administration functions. Experience with Web enabled
application and system integration issues. 2 years experience in
personnel management and supervision.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems Management or sufficient experience. Background in basic
business operations: accounting, financial planning, MRP/ERP.

MIS Applications Manager

I am enclosing my resume for MIS Applications Manager. I have many years of Progress Development Experience and moved to Atlanta, GA back in 1987 to be the MIS Manager for Wheelabrator Corporation in Newnan, GA. My resume does not reflect the Wheelabrator job as I have been doing more of the development and programming as of late.

My wife's family is from Waxahachie, TX area and she still has her mother & father and daughter and family there. It would be fairly easy for us to relocate there, if I can get a position there.

I am not currently employed having been involved in a the fifth company layoff from Voice.Com in Atlanta, GA. My salary at Voice.com was $68,000.
